About Kayla
Good to meet ya!
Born and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I never knew it as a child but I loved changing up my room set-up, talking to people, organizing groups together, and talking logistics with teachers and peers. My senior year of high school, I was given the opportunity to develop the senior class of a new school. I loved the idea of starting new traditions, new clubs, and being apart of history. I didn't know it then but now I realize, this was the seed that started my love for creating lasting memories. That love followed into college. I was a Public Relations Major and Marketing minor for the first 2 years in college While working during college and dabbling in setting up, serving, and breaking down events, that seed starting growing again. I picked up Event Planning as a second minor my junior year of college.
I started working more events, assisting in the diagrams of the room and logistics of set-up. After graduation, I found my way to Nashville in the hospitality industry as a special events coordinator of a Nashville historical landmark. I've always loved old historical buildings and the history that surrounds it. I moved forward onto another private golf course and then an events agency.
With this blog, I want to bring to you my experiences with events in all shapes and forms. I share different types of industry norms and abnormal that I've experienced. I have recently become a new mom! You may also find some personal information like my journey on being married, raising two dogs, house buying, being a mom, and personal events for my family and friends!
